USPermitTest.com

Access for every learner

Accessibility Statement

USPermitTest.com is designed so more people can study independently, including visitors who use a keyboard, screen reader, enlarged text, high contrast, dark mode, or reduced motion.

Accessibility features

Every state practice test uses labeled controls, visible keyboard focus, semantic headings, text alternatives for question images, keyboard shortcuts, scalable layouts, and a settings panel for contrast, text size, color theme, focus emphasis, and reduced motion.

Standards and testing

We aim to support WCAG 2.2 Level AA principles. Automated checks and keyboard-focused browser tests are part of the production build, but no automated test can find every real-world barrier.

Known limitations

Some official permit study resources are hosted by state agencies as PDFs or external webpages. Their accessibility is controlled by the agency that publishes them. The interactive U.S. map is paired with a standard HTML state selector so the map is never the only way to navigate.
